Employer Information Lunch - Cavan
The Cross border partnership held a very successful employer information lunch in the Cavan Crystal Hotel on Wednesday, 28th January 2026. The event was attended by local employers, local councillors & support organisations. The event was held to inform cross-border employers on the rights & entitlements of their employees and to provide greater detail in relation to the tax system for cross-border employers & their employees.
Áine Bohan opened the presentations by advising the attendees of the important work carried out by the CBPES team, keeping employers & cross border workers informed of their rights. Áine Quigley presented for the Intreo, advising of the various schemes available to employers. Martin Casey from Cross Border Solutions, spoke about the positives for potential cross border employees. He addressed concerns with changing contracts to work from home.
